Job Summary:
Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator. This job is a multi-function day shift position that will direct & coordinate activities of the warehouse and trailer yard area. (This is an outside position)* Hot Summers/Cold Winters*
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift loading/unloading trailers, and organizing product in the warehouse as needed.
- Load and unload company and 3rd party trailers as needed
- Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse on all shifts.
- Maintain warehouse staff by orienting, and training employees
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by organizing space and housekeeping
- Keep mobile equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions and calling Mobile Maintenance Personnel for repairs
- Improvement & development of warehouse.
- Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
- Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse operation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA procedures and practices.
- Complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Operate Computer programs, including internal inventory control programs, Excel, handheld scanners, etc.
- Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and coordinate efforts and communication with Management Staff
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and requirements:
- Must have 2-5 years of warehouse supervisor related experience
- Should have a minimum of high school completion, GED
- Experience managing warehouse activities required
- Computer Skills are required, must be proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proven success delivering results through people
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting work priorities and directions to ensure resources and focus on the highest value of work
- Lift up to and including fifty (50) pounds on a necessary basis
- Perform manual tasks under varying weather conditions
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
