About the Role
IIX is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to provide consulting support to the CEO's Office on high-priority Strategic Initiatives. This is a project-based engagement for an intellectually curious, execution-oriented consultant who can work independently to support strategic concept development, organizational planning, and cross-functional execution.
Operating as an extension of the CEO and leadership team, the Consultant will drive strategic initiatives, enable high-quality decision-making through research and analysis, and amplify IIX's voice in the global impact investing space. This is not a traditional support role - it is designed for a self-directed professional who can navigate ambiguity, deliver polished work products with minimal oversight, and switch between diverse project streams.

Organizational Strategy & Planning
• Translate strategic directions into structured workstreams, trackers, and detailed action plans
• Coordinate across internal teams to align inputs, monitor progress, and identify blockers on organization-wide priorities
• Prepare strategy documents, organizational planning materials, and internal reporting on strategic initiatives

• Scope and develop early-stage concepts and initiatives emerging from the CEO's Office
• Structure concepts into compelling proposals, frameworks, or workplans ready for internal review or external pitching

• Demonstrated knowledge of gender and/or social inclusion, with an intersectional perspective
• Experience across sectors such as climate, infrastructure, development finance, or impact/sustainable finance
• Familiarity with inclusive finance or impact measurement frameworks
• Prior experience in strategy or policy roles within impact-oriented organizations
