Summary
This position is a Automotive Mechanic, WG- 5823-10 working in Estes Park, Colorado for the IM-1539-ROMO.
Major Duties
As a Automotive Mechanic your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Troubleshoot, repair, and/or overhaul major automotive components and systems to include gasoline and diesel engines, differentials, trans-axles, electronic fuel injection, exhaust and emission control systems. Perform repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance of small engine equipment. Assists with repairing and overhauling heavy equipment including, but not limited to, backhoes, loaders, graders, bulldozers, dump trucks, tractor/trailer combinations, and snow removal equipment. Utilizes diagnostic codes and internet research to maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment. Operate electronic test equipment such as computerized engine analyzers and scanners, exhaust analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
