EHS Superintendent – Environmental, Health & Safety<\/span>

Location: Northern Indiana<\/span>

We are seeking an experienced EHS Superintendent to support a large -scale, mission -critical data center construction program in Northern Indiana. This role is responsible for leading Environmental, Health & Safety oversight across active construction sites, ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving proactive risk mitigation across all project activities.<\/span>

The ideal candidate will have experience working on large commercial, industrial, or mission -critical construction projects and will be confident operating in fast -paced, high -complexity environments with multiple contractors and trades on site.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/h2>
- Lead day -to -day EHS oversight across active construction sites<\/span>
<\/li> - Develop, implement, and enforce site -specific safety plans and procedures<\/span>
<\/li> - Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to ensure compliance<\/span>
<\/li> - Support and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards<\/span>
<\/li> - Lead site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions<\/span>
<\/li> - Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare detailed reports and corrective actions<\/span>
<\/li> - Work closely with project leadership, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain a strong safety culture<\/span>
<\/li> - Monitor high -risk activities including hot work, lifting operations, electrical work, and working at height<\/span>
<\/li> - Ensure proper documentation of safety records, permits, and compliance logs<\/span>
<\/li> - Coordinate with clients, EHS managers, and regulatory authorities as required<\/span>
<\/li> - Promote continuous improvement in safety performance across all project teams<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications<\/span>
<\/h2>
- 5+ years of EHS experience within commercial, industrial, or mission -critical construction environments<\/span>
<\/li> - Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards<\/span>
<\/li> - Experience working on large, multi -trade job sites with high contractor activity<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability to lead safety initiatives across multiple subcontractors and disciplines<\/span>
<\/li> - Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills<\/span>
<\/li> - Experience in data center, industrial, or large infrastructure projects preferred<\/span>
<\/li> - OSHA 30 certification required (or equivalent); additional safety certifications preferred<\/span>
<\/li> - Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field is a plus<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Preferred Backgrounds<\/span>

Candidates may come from general contractors, construction management firms, or large -scale infrastructure projects with strong safety programs.<\/span>
<\/p>
Experience supporting mission -critical environments such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, airports, or complex commercial developments is highly desirable.<\/span>
