Job Summary
The Senior Executive, Sustainability is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and implementation of PTP's Sustainability Strategy and Roadmap, with a focus on sustainability advocacy, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and strategic partnerships. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives, strengthen sustainability awareness across the organization, and ensure timely delivery of sustainability programmes, reporting requirements, and departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation, monitoring, and execution of PTP's Sustainability Framework and Sustainability Roadmap to achieve approved sustainability targets and objectives.Coordinate the preparation of sustainability reports, awards submissions, and external sustainability disclosures, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable reporting frameworks.Plan and execute sustainability advocacy programmes, awareness campaigns, capacity-building initiatives, and community-related activities to strengthen sustainability culture and engagement.Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, community representatives, business partners, and internal stakeholders to support sustainability programmes, partnerships, and reporting requirements.Support Sustainability Steering Committees and Working Groups by monitoring action plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely implementation of sustainability initiatives.Provide administrative, coordination, and reporting support to facilitate smooth departmental operations and governance processes.Generate data-driven insights, trend analyses, and sustainability performance reports to support decision-making and improve programme effectiveness.Identify and establish strategic partnerships, develop sustainability case studies, and support innovation initiatives that enhance PTP's sustainability positioning.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in a relevant field; Postgraduate qualification in Sustainability Studies is an added advantage.Minimum
3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, environmental studies, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, branding, or related fields.Good understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards such as
GRI, NSRF, Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Standards, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and UN Global Compact.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.Excellent presentation, communication, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills.Resourceful, well-organised, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.Fluent in
English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
