Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
Location: Lima, OH

Purpose
Perform various duties including: maintenance and repair of medium voltage equipment, calibration and troubleshooting various transmitters and electronic devices, and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers. Work independently as well as in a team environment and have the ability to troubleshoot problems. All duties will be completed in accordance with all regulations in support of DOT, Environmental, Safety, and Regulatory compliance. Travel, call-outs and overtime will be required on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
•Perform work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with all Environmental, Safety and Regulatory requirements.
•Provide E&I support for assigned assets such as pipelines, remote monitoring facilities, and pump stations.
•Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and calibrates wide variety of midstream instrumentation such as, but not limited to, flow meters, transmitters, sensors, analyzers, data loggers, programmable logic controller (PLCs), distributive control system (DCS).
•Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, motor control centers, generators, transformers, switches, relays, wiring, electrical signal and communication systems, power distribution center (PDCs), uninterrupted power source (UPS).
•Configures and programs industrial control systems. Performs loops checks, point-to-point verification, and other testing regimen.
•Maintains complete, accurate and regulatory-compliant documentation.
•Respond to and resolve station alarms and communicate findings to appropriate parties.
•Generate computerized work requests for maintenance tasks; coordinate and communicate maintenance activities.
