I’m currently partnering with a leading organisation in the renewable energy sector to appoint a Head of Engineering to lead and scale their technical function.
This is a strategic leadership role suited for a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in solar PV, electrical system design, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Core Requirements:
- BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience in renewable energy / power / electrical engineering
- Proven expertise in:
- Solar PV system design (utility-scale or C&I)
- Electrical system design (MV/HV advantageous)
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Demonstrated leadership experience:
- Head of Engineering / Engineering Manager / Technical Lead level
- Managing and mentoring engineering teams
- Setting technical direction and standards
- Experience within IPPs, EPCs, or large-scale energy projects
ECSA registration (PrEng) advantageous
