Summary
This position is located in the Maintenance Division at Acadia National Park. The typical seasonal period is May-March but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Major Duties
Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operating) Standard Duties: Routine maintenance and construction of hiking trails, trail drainages (water bars, dips, and culverts), iron pins and handrails, stonework, and trail bridges. Marks trails with rock cairns and blazes. Moves materials to job site. Safely and effectively uses and maintains hand and power tools required for the job and has the ability to maintain those tools properly Operates and performs minor operator maintenance on light duty motor vehicles within the park.
