We are currently partnering with a well-established renewable energy company that is looking to appoint an experienced Project Engineer (Electrical) to join their growing team.
This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong Electrical Engineer with proven experience delivering commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects from inception through to commissioning. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing engineering coordination, project execution, and stakeholder engagement across multiple renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the engineering and technical delivery of commercial solar PV projects.
- Oversee project execution from design review through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Liaise with EPC contractors, consultants, clients, and internal project teams.
- Review electrical designs, SLDs, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
- Monitor project schedules, technical risks, and construction progress.
- Support grid connection processes and utility coordination where required.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience managing commercial or utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, electrical infrastructure, and project execution.
- Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of MV/LV systems, inverters, transformers, and grid integration.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional registration is advantageous.
