Position Summary The Head of Marketing Europe is responsible for leading the company’s marketing function across the European region and can be based in Munich, Madrid, or London.
The role owns the regional marketing strategy, brand positioning, marketing communications, event strategy, market intelligence framework, and marketing team development. The position ensures that marketing activities support commercial objectives, strengthen brand awareness, generate market insights, and enhance the company’s reputation across European markets.
The Head of Marketing Europe combines functional and people leadership, translating business priorities into effective marketing initiatives while ensuring alignment between Sales, Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and regional stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Brand Management - Develop and execute the regional marketing strategy in alignment with European business objectives and global corporate guidelines
- Define and maintain the company’s brand positioning, messaging, and market presence across Europe
- Ensure consistent and professional brand representation across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness, market visibility, and customer engagement
Marketing Programs & Campaign Management - Oversee the planning and execution of regional marketing campaigns, events, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and customer engagement activities
- Ensure marketing initiatives support commercial objectives, lead generation, customer retention, and market development
- Manage relationships with marketing agencies, media partners, event organizers, and external service providers
- Monitor marketing effectiveness and continuously optimize campaign performance and return on investment
Market Intelligence & Business Insights - Establish and lead the regional market intelligence framework
- Oversee collection and analysis of market, competitor, policy, pricing, customer, and industry data across Europe
- Ensure timely delivery of market insights and business intelligence to support commercial strategy and decision-making
- Guide the development of market reports, trend analyses, SWOT assessments, and strategic recommendations
- Support forecasting, market prioritization, and long-term business planning through data-driven insights
People Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop the regional marketing and market analysis team
- Set clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations
- Conduct performance reviews, development planning, and succession planning activities
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance team culture
- Allocate resources effectively to support regional priorities and business objectives
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with Sales leadership to align marketing activities with commercial priorities and customer needs
- Collaborate with Product Management, Technical, ESG, Compliance, and Corporate Marketing teams on strategic initiatives
- Ensure alignment between regional marketing activities and global marketing standards
- Support executive communications, corporate positioning, and strategic stakeholder engagement where required
Budget & Performance Management - Own the regional marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources
- Monitor marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment
- Establish marketing KPIs, reporting standards, and performance tracking mechanisms
- Drive continuous improvement of marketing processes, tools, and ways of working
Performance Indicators - Brand awareness and market visibility across Europe
- Marketing contribution to business growth and commercial objectives
