My client is looking for a driven and customer-focused Industrial Sales Representative with solar/renewable energy experience. To manage and grow the Industrial business across the Free State and Northern Cape regions.
The successful candidate must already live either in Bloemfontein or Kimberley, with a valid SA driver's license.
This person will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the Industrial sector.

Responsibilities:
- Implement sales initiatives aligned with the company's Industrial Strategy and Sales Plan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and market share.
- Promote and sell renewable energy, solar, industrial energy, and related technical solutions to commercial and industrial customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, installers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular customer visits in line with a structured calling cycle and business development plan.
- Monitor customer buying patterns and provide market feedback to management.
- Track competitor activity and identify market trends within the renewable energy and industrial sectors.
- Assist customers with account openings, credit applications, and product-related queries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Manage warranty claims and customer complaints in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate customer records and CRM data.
- Conduct regional pricing surveys and provide regular sales and market feedback.
- Achieve sales targets while managing discounts and expenses within approved parameters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric.
- Certificate in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification (NQF 5).
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification (NQF 6) advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' external sales experience within the solar, renewable energy, electrical, industrial energy sectors.
- Proven experience selling solar or renewable energy solutions is essential.
- Experience dealing with commercial, industrial, EPC, contractor, installer, or distribution customers will be advantageous.
- Candidates with automotive retail or vehicle sales experience only will not be considered.
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP systems, and related software).
- Valid driver's licence essential.
- Must currently reside in Bloemfontein or Kimberley.
