Investment Manager – Renewable Energy Transactions, Southeast Asia

The Mission

Southeast Asia is one of the most dynamic renewable energy markets in the world right now. The deal flow is real, the complexity is high, and the capital being deployed is reshaping how an entire region powers itself.

Our client is a leading renewable energy developer with a serious regional presence and the pipeline to match. They're building out their transactions team in Singapore — and they want someone who can lead investment processes end -to -end, not just support them.

If you've spent the last several years doing genuine deals work in clean energy, infrastructure, or project finance, this is the kind of opportunity that doesn't come around often.

The Opportunity

As Investment Manager, you'll be at the centre of the firm's investment activity across APAC — running M&A processes, structuring JVs, evaluating acquisitions, and managing the full transaction lifecycle from first look through to close and into portfolio monitoring.

This is a lean team environment. You'll have broad exposure, direct access to senior decision -makers, and real ownership over the deals you lead. Singapore -based, permanent role.

What You'll Do

Lead end -to -end investment processes across the full transaction spectrum — JVs, M&A, acquisitions, divestitures, and new business development — with a focus on renewable energy assets across the APAC region.

Prepare investment memos, RFPs, and proposal evaluations. Drive the appointment of financial advisors and manage those relationships through execution.

Build and interrogate financial models — assessing acquisitions, stress -testing assumptions, and presenting analysis clearly to senior stakeholders.

Own the integrity of investment returns: due diligence, commercial negotiations, identification of value drivers and risk, scenario analysis, and sensitivity work.

Serve as the main point of escalation during project delivery and execution — keeping deals on track when things get complicated.

Support portfolio monitoring and reporting to shareholders and relevant stakeholders.

Travel across key APAC markets for site visits and investment activity as needed.

Work fluidly across internal teams and external partners — local offices, banks, legal advisors, and co -investors.

What You Bring

5–8 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, project finance, or M&A. The deals background is non -negotiable.

A track record of leading or meaningfully contributing to transactions from origination through execution — you've been in the room, not just supporting the people who were.

Strong financial modelling capability and the commercial judgement to know what the numbers are really telling you.

Excellent stakeholder management — comfortable engaging across functions, seniority levels, and cultures in a regional context.

A collaborative, hands -on approach. This is a team that operates lean and moves fast. People who need heavy infrastructure around them to do good work tend not to thrive here.

A degree in any relevant discipline. What matters most is the quality of the experience you bring.
