We are seeking a motivated Intern to support field data collection activities
for the preparation of the Model Solar Village DPR for Madhya Pradesh Urja
Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL). The role involves conducting ground surveys,
engaging with stakeholders, and assisting technical teams through structured
data collection and documentation. The candidate should be willing to travel
locally and coordinate effectively with project teams to ensure timely delivery
of project milestones.
Preference will be given to candidates from the following locations: Bhopal,
Khandwa, Barwani, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain, Khargone, Jhabua, Ratlam, and
Narmadapuram districts
Responsibilities
- Conduct ground surveys in assigned villages and project locations.
- Collect field data related to electricity consumption, rooftop suitability,
and existing energy infrastructure.
- Interact with households, local businesses, and other stakeholders to
gather required information.
- Record and maintain survey data in structured MS Excel formats.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and quality of collected data.
- Support the project team in DPR preparation through field-based inputs and
observations.
- Assist in data cleaning, validation, and documentation activities.
- Support project reporting and submission requirements.
- Coordinate with Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) and other
government officials, as required.
Qualifications
Diploma/Polytechnic in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering
disciplines, or final-year BE/BTech in relevant engineering branches
Skill Set
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and solar energy systems
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, formatting, and basic formulas)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel for field surveys
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work in teams and meet timelines
- Basic knowledge of MS Word

1–3 months (extendable based on performance and project requirements)
