We are building the new offshore team and hiring talents of Site Warehouse!
Responsibilities
-
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).

Perform (or Direct) inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.

Track and / or Manage equipment preservation metrics and schedule to ensure site resource planning and allocation. Daily work activity is planned weeks/months in advance while supporting day-to-day maintenance & preservation work.

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization is needed.

Report any discrepancies.

Communicate and cooperate with coworkers for pre-assembly, offshore construction and offshore commissioning of wind power turbines.

Secure the Operation and maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Ensure quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Supervise of Maintenance and Preservation tasks such as the following: inspect interior/exterior components are clean, dry, and corrosion free; coat exposed un-painted machined surface with corrosion inhibitor; install, re-install, or replace protective covers; manually rotate shafts; fasten and securely place material in wooden crate(s) for mechanical protection during storage and shipment; ensure certain electronics are stored with an adequate amount of desiccant to prevent moisture; material such as detectors or circuit breakers are housed in climate-controlled storage and properly packaged with bubble wrap, as necessary.

Perform tasks in a safe manner and promote safe activities; exercise stop work authority if unsafe conditions exist.
If you are the Site Warehouse and Logistics Manager, the responsibilities also include:

Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

Implementing operational policies and procedures.
-
Implementing and overseeing security operations.
-
Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
-
Ensuring the safety of staff.
-
Motivating and disciplining staff.
-
Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
-
Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
-
Assisting with deliveries where required.

Recognize issues or waste and proactively recommend solutions to drive optimization and participate in problem solving events.
Qualifications
-
Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker or Supervisor or Leader / Manager
-
Warehouse management and logistics experience
-
Good understanding of warehouse management procedures
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Engineering degree is desired but not a must
-
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems (SAP or other ERPs), computer skills (MS Office)
-
Systems application experience and knowledge a must (SAP MM module is highly desirable)
-
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
-
Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is a bonus
-
Good leadership, organizational, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
-
Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
-
Current forklift license
-
Effective Communication Skills (oral and written)
-
Ability to lift heavy objects
-
Good organisation skills
