We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solar Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in solar engineering, with a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in designing and implementing solar energy projects. This role mainly responsible for providing Solar PV design engineering throughout the entire design phase
of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and design commercial, industrial and utility solar PV systems using AutoCAD and delivering complete design packages for construction and
installation.
• Prepare conceptual design for ground mount systems (fixed tilt and single-axis tracking) and including site plans, equipment layouts, single-line diagrams, string sizing, schedule, bill of quantity, etc.
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining an organized file system for drawings related to CEIG Approvals
• Providing technical support to other members of the team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Designing large scale PV project layouts, SLDs, PVsyst Report according to grid compliance and permitting requirements.
• AC & DC Wire Sizing and Grounding calculation
• Performing accurate system sizing calculations and detail solar resource assessment and energy yield estimation.
• Preparing detailed bills of materials based on system specifications.
• Aligning with management team to develop complete proposal packages.
• Evaluating plans or specifications to determine technological, commercial, and environmental implications.
• Recommending technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.
• Reviewing solar PV designs, test reports, commissioning procedures, quality documents etc.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar engineering.
- Proficiency in PVsyst or similar software for solar project simulation and analysis.
