We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team at Procurabl to Business Development Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems Solution.
Job Description
- Support existing customers, identify and acquire new customers by cultivating relationships within the battery Ecosystem and Stakeholders
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with key C-Level decision-makers in the Battery Manufacturing Industry Ecosystem (EU’s, OEMs, Line Integrators, and other Industry Partners)
- Translate project tenders and customer requirements with regard to technical, commercial and legal-regulatory specifications into a concrete requirement profile.
- Advise customers, investors and network operators on the technical and commercial feasibility of project proposals.
- Evaluate market analyses in the battery storage segment with regard to the risk-opportunity profile and prioritise project enquiries accordingly.
- Drive sales, achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain and strengthens customer relationships to generate future sales and repeat business
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and delivery
- Support Operations/Sourcing teams to align the EV battery Value propositions with local market trends and meet Battery customer demands.
- Support continuous improvement in the operations team by continuously bringing customer and market feedback into internal process and product development activities.
- Develop networking/collaboration across Business Units and countries that ensure collaboration and alignment to deliver on Battery goals.
- Deploy electric vehicle battery sales plans and meet key ambitions including integration of Procurabl’s solutions/products.
- Ensure we become a true solution advisor/provider to key EV Battery Manufacturers in APAC & EMEA
- Coordinate with customers for technical requirements and prepare integrated project offers for large scale battery storage systems.
- Assist with collection of accounts receivables when needed.
- Familiar with international trade, operating practices, foreign trade workflow
Requirements
- You have a Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, energy management, renewable energies or are a sales professional with a profound technical understanding.
- Your strengths include a sales-oriented approach and excellent presentation skills.
- 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the Automotive Industry.
- Proven track record of success in business development, as well as strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Automotive and Battery manufacturing industry ecosystems
- Familiar with the EV Battery process, customer challenges & pain points, internal constraints, and opportunities within Battery segment
- Strong relationship-building, networking skills, communication and people management capabilities
- You have a strong ability to move from words to action in an organized and structured way. You are down-to-earth and are equally at home working hands-on as you are leading strategic discussions.
- Obtain alignment and work effectively across teams and functions
- Fluent written and spoken English is required and additional languages would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build credibility and maintain effective customer relationships
