Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator Location Belleville | $75,000 – $85,000 | Manufacturing Environment

And we're looking for an HSE Coordinator to champion a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace for our team, contractors, and visitors.
What You'll Own
- Leading the implementation of our Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001) and Environmental (ISO 14001) Management Systems
- Driving our Zero Harm program — setting goals, tracking KPIs, and closing the loop on actions
- Managing WSIB claims and Early & Safe Return to Work programs
- Conducting hazard assessments, audits, and incident investigations (with real corrective actions, not just paperwork)
- Leading the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) — owning the agenda and the outcomes
- Managing chemical inventory, SDS records, and WHMIS compliance
- Supporting environmental, sustainability, and energy data reporting
- Building safety policies, training new hires, and issuing Safety Alerts when it matters most
What You Bring
- Solid working knowledge of the OHSA, Regulations, and WSIA
- Confidence communicating with everyone — from the production floor to senior leadership
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A self-starter mindset with sharp organizational and time management skills
- Ability to gather and analyze information, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours and travel between plants when needed
- Comfort moving between an office environment and the production floor (sitting, standing, bending, lifting, reaching)
