RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable construction company is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Site Engineer for a major solar farm project based in Klerksdorp.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineering professional with renewable energy project exposure to join a dynamic project team on a large-scale renewable energy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site supervision and coordination of construction activities
- Monitoring construction progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Managing subcontractors and site resources
- Reviewing drawings and technical documentation
- Assisting with planning, reporting, and project coordination
- Ensuring works are completed according to specifications and programme requirements
Requirements:
- BSc or BEng Degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working on renewable energy projects is essential, specifically solar farm projects
- Proven site engineering and construction supervision experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control, and site coordination
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
