âªManaging accounting operations (often including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition)
âªCoordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances
âªPreparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
âªCreating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
âªEnsuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported
âªEnsuring all reporting is compliant with statutory law and financial regulations
âªDocumenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
âªStreamlining and improving accounting systems and operations
âªOverseeing the management of cash flow and debt/debt collection
âªSupervising and managing financial department staff
