Mission
Avesta is seeking an experienced Battery Product Engineer (Commercial & Industrial) to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about the battery storage industry and enjoy tackling complex technical challenges, we encourage you to apply.
In this role, you will work with battery cells, modules, racks, and containers, focusing on application development, battery commissioning, maintenance, and delivering excellent customer support. A strong understanding of customer needs and effective communication skills are essential to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and smooth deployment of Avesta’s battery solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer and market needs into concrete project plans, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Project Managers, Thermal and Mechanical teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of battery solutions.
- Conduct rigorous testing of battery cells, modules, racks, and containers to ensure high-quality standards prior to customer delivery.
- Commission battery systems on-site and provide comprehensive training to customers, ensuring safe and proper operation.
- Provide ongoing customer support, including troubleshooting, handling inquiries, and addressing new requests or issues.
- Collect and analyze customer and market feedback to drive continuous improvement of Avesta’s products.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues or inquiries related to purchased components and materials.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) + 2+ years in battery systems
- Strong knowledge of battery systems (BMS/EMS, electrical components, CAN/ModBus/TCP/IP)
- Experience with testing, commissioning, and maintenance
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication with customers and suppliers; proactive and team-oriented
