We're seeking a Senior Sustainability Specialist with a strong finance, accounting, sustainability or ESG reporting background who is ready to play a key role in shaping Levande's climate reporting, emissions assurance and sustainability capability. This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced sustainability, ESG or finance professional with exposure to climate, emissions and carbon reporting within the property, infrastructure, construction or energy-related sectors.
This is a highly visible role focused on climate reporting, sustainability governance and emissions assurance. You'll play a key role in preparing Levande for mandatory climate reporting under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), while supporting our Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Sustainability-Linked Loan (SLL) obligations and portfolio-wide decarbonisation initiatives.
Your Opportunity
You will work closely with Finance, Property, Operations and Energy teams to deliver high-quality, decision-useful sustainability insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and contribute to climate and sustainability disclosures, including Scope 1–3 emissions reporting aligned to ASRS and SBTi requirements
Support Levande's annual emissions assurance process and ensure climate data is accurate, auditable and reporting-ready
Manage, validate and reconcile sustainability data across energy, procurement and operational systems
Support climate-related risk and opportunity analysis as part of business planning and decision-making
Contribute to board, investor and lender reporting, including sustainability-linked finance obligations
Coordinate reporting and delivery of Levande's Climate Transition Plan and decarbonisation initiatives across the portfolio
About You
You are a commercially minded analyst with strong technical capability across sustainability reporting, finance and data management. You enjoy working with complex datasets, understanding how numbers connect to real assets and operations, and translating analysis into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders.
You will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
CA or CPA qualifications highly regarded but not essential
Experience in sustainability, ESG, climate or carbon reporting within property, infrastructure, construction, energy or related sectors
Understanding of sustainability and climate-related frameworks including ASRS, SBTi, TCFD and greenhouse gas reporting principles
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with experience working with large datasets, reconciliations and reporting models
Experience preparing executive-level reporting and stakeholder communications
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
A detail-oriented, analytical and curious mindset with a genuine interest in sustainability and climate reporting
Experience with Power BI, ESG reporting platforms or assurance processes will be highly regarded
