Roles & Responsibilities: Work on engineering assembly models in SolidWorks and assign part numbers in Agile PLM and rename files accordingly in Enterprise PDM Create fabrication drawings for SolidWorks models that meet company and industry drawing standards Create manufacturer part numbers for OEM parts Create bill of materials in Agile Create change notices in Agile to revise or release new items and bill of materials Support engineering with assigned design tasks Work closely with the other functional teams like Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, to develop the sheet metal to fit all components compactly and meet the functional requirements Create effective documentation, like top level structure, assembly drawings, product drawings, fabrication files etc. Skills Required: BE in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years experience 3+ years minimum experience in sheet metal design and process knowledge Proficient in CAD/CAM packages such as Solidworks & AutoCAD. Proficient in use of PDM tools (Agile, EPDM) and documentation process Proficiency in sheet metal process and press tools, jigs & fixtures is desirable Adequate communication skills to interact effectively with key stakeholders Having good knowledge of mechanical test such as vibration test and drop tests We are aware there are instances where individuals are receiving job offers that fraudulently allege to be from Bloom Energy or one of our business units.
