Position Overview
The Manager, Supply Chain – Brazil is responsible for leading all procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier management activities in support of Invenergy Services’ business in Brazil. This role is accountable for ensuring material availability, cost discipline, supplier performance, and operational reliability across the assets managed by Invenergy Services Brazil.
This is a country-level leadership role that partners closely with Asset Management, Engineering, Site Operations, and Global Supply Chain to support high availability, safe operations, and long-term cost optimization while complying with Invenergy standards and Brazilian regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Own and execute the Brazil Supply Chain strategy aligned with Invenergy global policies and local O&M business needs.
Act as a strategic business partner to Operations and Asset Management, ensuring supply chain decisions support turbine availability, reliability, and lifecycle cost objectives.
Lead, develop, and mentor the Brazil supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safety.
Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
Lead sourcing, purchasing, and contracting for spare parts, services, consumables, major components and tooling for ISB operations.
Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, including OEMs, ISPs, logistics providers, and critical local vendors.
Drive competitive sourcing processes (RFP/RFQ), negotiations, and contract execution in accordance with Invenergy governance and delegation of authority.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when required.
Inventory & Material Management
Define and implement spare parts and inventory strategies for critical and non-critical materials across all operating sites.
Balance availability, working capital, and obsolescence risk through forecasting, min/max policies, and lifecycle planning.
Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate controls, traceability, and system integrity.
Logistics, Import & Compliance
Manage domestic and international logistics, including inter‑modal transportation, customs clearance, taxes, tariffs, and duties.
Ensure full compliance with Brazilian import/export regulations and Invenergy internal controls.
Proactively identify supply chain risks related to lead times, customs delays, or regulatory changes and implement mitigation plans.
Systems, Data & Continuous Improvement
Own the definition and continuous improvement of supply chain processes, tools, and systems (ERP, CMMS, inventory platforms).
Use data and analytics to drive demand forecasting, performance tracking, and decision‑making.
Lead initiatives to improve service levels and standardize processes across sites.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
Minimum 9 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or strategic sourcing.
Minimum 3 years in a leadership role managing teams and complex supplier relationships.
Strong commercial and contractual negotiation experience, including understanding of legal and compliance aspects.
Proven experience managing logistics and inventory in operational or asset‑intensive environments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into operational and financial insights.
Fluent in English; Portuguese required.
Ability to travel approximately 20%.
Preferred Experience
Experience in renewable energy, power generation, or industrial asset O&M environments.
Familiarity with wind turbine spare parts, OEM relationships, and long‑lead components.
Experience working with ERP / CMMS systems
Exposure to digital tools, data analytics, and AI‑enabled decision support in supply chain contexts.
