Reporting to the Director of Quality Programs, Compliance, and Excellence, this role leads the North America Quality Region with accountability for driving compliance across multiple certification programs at our manufacturing and warehouse locations. The position partners closely with commercial teams to ensure adherence to certification standards and supports the organization's commitment to sustainability through the Rainforest Alliance compliance program.
The ideal candidate will champion efficiency and transformation across the quality function, advancing initiatives that strengthen consumer trust, elevate compliance performance, and foster a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
How you will contribute:
Certification Compliance and Program Maintenance
- Lead Organic Trader Renewal and Annual Inspections (Mondelez Global LLC, Mondelez International Holdings LLC, Mondelez global Direct, Mondelez Canada)
- Review and update Organic System Plan Compliance programs and lead internal audit of organic system compliance programs across manufacturing and warehouse locations
- Support Processor Organic Inspections at Headquarter locations & attend internal manufacturing inspections.
- Ensure compliance with certification programs and sustainability programs including training, audit readiness and non-conformity follow ups.
Product Certifications and Commercialization
- Support commercial category teams in maintaining current certification and approving ingredients, formula and graphics for existing products.
- Update databases for New Product Certification Prep and Submissions for Organic/Kosher/Non-GMO/GFCO
- Address any non-conforming findings at our internal and external manufacturing and warehouse locations
Leadership Skills Required
- Take ownership and responsibility for actions, behaviors and contributions.
- Good judgment of what information to share while keeping cross-functional teams informed of food safety status and implications in complex projects. Understanding audience and level of sharing.

What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Food safety and quality technical knowledge, including demonstrated knowledge of HACCP, FSMA and traceability and other regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of organic regulations, FDA & USDA Requirements, Kosher, and Non-GMO standards.
- Working knowledge in risk assessments and gap analyses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teamwork, and documentation control.
Education / Certifications:
Minimum B.S. degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related Sciences
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years related experience (Quality, Supply Chain, Food Safety &/or R&D)
- Understanding of R&D, Quality and Supply Chain processes, organizational dynamics and quality culture
- Understanding of the certification programs and connecting with the external certifying leads
- Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and executive presence, capable of interfacing with senior leaders and technical staff.
- High analytical, with strong attention to detail and bias for action.
- Highly proficient computer (MS Office) and Communication skills (Verbal and Written) are required
Travel Requirements
Approximately 20% - 30% travel may be required for key project needs

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
