We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Switzerland. In this role, you will support our customers on-site, ensure high system performance, and act as a key technical partner for our clients in the region.
FSE Tasks
- Installation and commissioning of residential and commercial PV systems.
- Independently and responsibly perform maintenance, repair, and servicing work, as well as on-site training for our customers in Switzerland and occasionally also in southeastern France or Belgium.
- Act as a key point of contact for defined accounts and internal departments, mainly for the Swiss Romandie region.
- Work closely with Technical Support to manage ongoing issues in the field, solve escalated problems, and improve overall customer satisfaction for defined key accounts.
- Regular creation and presentation of account analyses and field findings to optimize processes and products.
FSE Profile
- Committed and responsible personality with completed subject-specific studies in Electrical/Electronic Technologies or comparable qualifications.
- Strong affinity for photovoltaics and several years of experience in service, customer service, or customer care.
- Customer-oriented, communicative, and able to explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way.
- Professional and adaptable when interacting with customers, colleagues, and partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Good command of French and English; additional knowledge of German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in Switzerland and occasionally to southeastern France or Belgium.
- Professional experience in Electrical/Electronic Technologies, Electrical Theory, or Field Service; solar industry knowledge is a plus.
- 3–5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in French and English; German is a plus.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office tools and CRM reporting.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
