This is a true engineering design role whereyou'llcreate innovative residential solar and energy solutions that deliver exceptional performance,reliabilityand customer value. Working alongside our Product, Sales, Installation and Service teams,you'lltransform customer requirements into practical, technically robust designs that make sustainable living more accessible.

Whereyou’llmake your mark
As one of our technical design specialists,you'lldevelop detailed residential solar and energy system designs that meet engineering, regulatory and customer requirements.You'llinterpret customer specifications, prepare detailed drawings, undertake energy modelling and system calculations, and ensure every solution is both technically sound and commercially practical.
Working closely with our cross-functional teams,you'llprovide the technicalexpertisethat supports successful installations and outstanding customer experiences.You'llalso contribute to continuously improving our design processes, standards and internal capability as our Home Solutions business continues to evolve.
Your work will span residential solar PV systems, whole-of-home energy solutions, energy modelling, HVAC and hot-water system considerations, load calculations, and designing solutions that help homeowners reduce energy costs while improving sustainability.
You'rean engineer who enjoys solving problems and designing practical solutions that make a real difference. You combine technicalexpertisewith curiosity, attention to detail and a passion for creating better outcomes for customers.
Strong knowledge of AS/NZS standards including 4777, 5033, 5139 and 4509, together with a sound understanding of residential construction and building codes.
Beyond your technical capability,you'recollaborative, customer-focused and enjoy working with others to solve complex challenges.You'recomfortable questioning traditional approaches, continuously improving the way work is done, and sharing your knowledge with those around you.Above all, you'llbring a strong commitment to quality, safety and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
