A well-established food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a QA Assistant to join their Technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous food manufacturing or quality experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced production environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications, food safety standards, and company quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine quality assurance and quality control checks
- Completing daily QA records, documentation, and temperature monitoring
- Conducting product testing and inspections
- Ensuring products, labelling, and packaging meet required specifications
- Monitoring hygiene standards and supporting HACCP compliance
- Logging non-conformances and supporting corrective actions
- Maintaining the QA laboratory and ensuring equipment is calibrated
- Supporting internal audits and ensuring the site remains audit ready
- Working closely with Production, Technical, and Management teams
About You
- Previous experience within food manufacturing, QA, QC, or Technical roles preferred
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident completing documentation accurately
- Positive and proactive approach to quality standards
