Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
In this role, you will be based in Oslo and report to the VP & Head of GBS People and Communication. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering our digital communication portfolio across platforms, channels, and stakeholders. As a key leader in a matrix organization, you will align priorities across business units, functions, and markets, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor to ensure communication services support strategic outcomes across the enterprise.

What you will be doing
As a Communication Portfolio Lead, you will own and drive the communication service portfolio from strategy to execution. You will act as the key link between business needs and internal delivery teams, ensuring that priorities translate into measurable outcomes.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Defining, prioritizing, and managing the portfolio roadmap across channels, platforms, and content
- Translating strategic goals into measurable objectives (OKRs) and ensuring delivery against them
- Leading execution across internal teams and external vendors, securing quality, timelines, and performance
- Ensuring stable and efficient operations of digital communication channels and platforms
- Driving data-informed decisions through analytics, reporting, and performance insights
- Managing governance, compliance (GDPR, accessibility, security), and operational standards
- Overseeing vendor performance, budgets, and cost control

- Experience in portfolio, program, or senior project management within digital and / or communication environments
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems (web, internal platforms, social, analytics)
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Experience with data-driven decision-making, governance, and performance tracking
- Solid communication and influencing skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach
Education & background:
- Degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in project/program/portfolio management are a plus
