Summary
A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government (Civil Service) is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected. The display of a salary range on this vacancy shall not be construed as granting an entitlement to a higher rate of pay. The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is July 2026 to April 2027, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Major Duties
Construct, alter, maintain, and repair wooden buildings, structures, and/or other items made of wood, wood substitutes, and composite building materials. Perform standard roofing duties to clearly established guidelines and instruction. Perform standard painting duties to clearly established guidelines and instruction. Follow and apply standard safety procedures associated with the job. Operate and maintain motor vehicles.
