Job Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits related to environmental, social sustainability, and quality standards to ensure compliance with applicable certification requirements.
Represent the company during external audits, certification audits, and compliance assessments.
Lead the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the company’s sustainability and quality procedures with capacity development programmes.
Coordinate with estate teams and other departments to implement sustainability and compliance requirements effectively across operations.
Candidate Profile
A graduate from a recognized university in Agribusiness, Environmental Management/Science, Sustainability, Natural Resource Management, Eco-Business Management, or any other relevant subject area.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sustainability, compliance, environmental management, audit coordination, or a similar capacity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, remain self-motivated, and perform effectively under pressure with minimum supervision.
Base Location: Talawakelle, with travel to estates and factories in Nanu Oya, Deniyaya, and Galle as required.
