Solar Draughtsman | Renewable Energy Projects | Johannesburg
We are actively recruiting a hands-on Solar Draughtsman to join a growing and fast-moving renewable energy business. This role is ideal for a technically strong draughtsman who enjoys working on real projects, producing high quality technical drawings, and is comfortable traveling to site as part of the job.

Job & Company Description:
The Solar Draughtsman will be responsible for producing accurate technical and construction drawings for solar and renewable energy projects. The role involves working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings are completed according to project specifications and applicable standards.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel to project sites as required.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience working as a Draughtsman
- Solid experience producing technical and engineering drawings
- Minimum 3+ years’ hands‑on AutoCAD experience
- Exposure to solar, renewable energy, electrical, or engineering projects (advantageous)
- Ability to produce layouts, schematics, construction, and as‑built drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy
- Comfortable working both in an office environment and on construction sites
- Willingness to travel locally and nationally as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
