In 2017, our team discovered the potential for converting warm water into electricity during a visit to Iceland. Seeing the massive potential for geothermal applications, we founded Baseload Capital to fund geothermal projects worldwide. We then established Baseload Power to develop and operate these projects.
Today, we have power companies operating in Japan, Taiwan, the U.S., and Iceland, working towards our vision of a planet in balance. We are a team of six in the US, and close to 50 colleagues worldwide.
Our Core Values: The Foundation of Our Work
Resilient: We adapt to ever-changing environments, take responsibility for our actions, and work hard to bring about a balanced planet.
Impactful: We stay clear on our goals, making thoughtful decisions, and ensuring every effort drives real change. Through teamwork and strong partnerships, we hold ourselves accountable and always get things done—making a difference where it counts.
Pioneers: We dive into new markets and income streams, never letting the risks of being first deter us from doing what we believe is right.
