We are looking for a Tax Intern to join our European Finance team and support the day-to-day tax operations across multiple countries. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to key tax topics such as compliance, audits, transfer pricing, tax automation and tax controls, while working closely with internal teams and external advisors. This internship is a great opportunity to learn in a fast-paced, international environment and develop a broad understanding of tax within a growing organization.
What you’ll do
- Support the day‑to‑day management of Tax operations in Europe
- Assist on the optimization of the European Tax Control Framework (Tax accounting, Tax compliance, Transfer pricing, Tax risks, Tax audits, Tax automation etc.)
- Assist with tax compliance processes and contribute to tax audit activities
- Gain exposure to tax structuring projects in a fast-evolving international environment
- Help increase tax awareness across the Lucid organization
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across different departments, organizations and countries
What we’re looking for
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor (HBO or WO), preferably in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting or Finance with tax exposure
- Enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn
- Strong communication skills in English (our main working language)
- Comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, well-organized, detail-oriented and reliable
- Interest in Tax, Accounting and Legal topics
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced, scaleup environment
- Comfortable working with Excel
Nice to have
- Interest in automotive industry
- Exposure to Tax or Finance roles
- Experience with ERP systems
- Additional languages (especially French or German)
- Experience in an international environment
