Summary
This position is an Avalanche Center Director located in Truckee, CA on the Tahoe National Forest. The incumbent directs a Forest Service Avalanche Center. Interprets current and expected snowpack and weather conditions and, combined with reports from numerous field observers, prepares and issues daily avalanche advisories for backcountry travelers.
