Regional Dispatcher
Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America. Renewables Canada is looking for a Regional Dispatcher is responsible for daily scheduling of technicians within their region. They’re assigning and scheduling technicians to project sites, updating call logs and service orders, and recording call information.
What will do you as the Regional Dispatcher?
- Participate in schedule creation, dispatch, and analysis on results using internal ticket system alongside Portfolio Manager
- Planning and coordinating methods and procedures for the most efficient and economical routing of technicians and jobs to maximize plant production
- Dispatch technicians to new locations as they complete work orders throughout the day to appropriate sites based on technician location, skillset, and customer requests
- Adjust technician schedules in real time as you receive emergency requests for your area
- Relay work order information to technicians for each job and confirm the technician understands the requirements for the work order and the customer
- Monitor the route and status of technicians to coordinate and prioritize their schedule and keep the client informed
- Record and maintain records of customer requests, work or services performed, customer communication, and other pertinent service order information
- Provide after-hours support as necessary with respect to scheduling changes or adjustments
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude toward clients and coworkers.

Do you have the Spark? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma
- 2+ experience conducting analysis and coordination for an operations team
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Performance monitoring and evaluation abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active listening and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
