Your Impact as a Manager, Interconnections:
The Manager, Interconnection & Transmission plays a central role in enabling Energy Vault's growth as an IPP across utility-scale battery energy storage (BESS), hybrid renewable, and large-load infrastructure projects. This position owns the full lifecycle of interconnection — from interconnection strategy through site diligence, application management, study review, and agreement execution — while working closely with internal teams across engineering, development, and commercial, as well as external stakeholders including utilities and ISO/RTOs.
The position plays a critical role in evaluating project viability, reducing development risk, optimizing transmission access, and ensuring projects are positioned for successful commercialization in increasingly capacity-constrained markets.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding of transmission and interconnection processes with strong commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and execution capability.
