Job Advert SummarySolareff (Pty) Ltd is seeking a qualified Sales Executive to help grow their business within the Renewable Sector. The Sales Executive will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. This role will further require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the Sales Executive must be both personable and professional.
Minimum RequirementsRequired skills and qualifications :
- Relevant tertiary qualification (preferably Business Administration, Marketing or an equivalent degree in Engineering coming with experience in sales)
Ideally joining with an existing network of potential clients, partners (EPCs/ commission agents) to tap into across the commercial & industrial sector in South Africa
Exposure to, or a good understanding of, solar financial (or similar/related) products
Financial modelling and commercial contract understanding
Proficiency in Microsoft, with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Pleasant personality, driven individual with a “make-it-happen” work ethic
South African Citizenship*, Clear Criminal Record*, Valid Driver’s License*
Experience :
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the renewable energy (PV and BESS), infrastructure, finance, or related industries.
PPA sales experience favorable
Must be very comfortable working in the digital realm, using tools such as CRM, Google, MS Office, Teams/Zoom, LinkedIn etc.
