About the role
The Service Continuity Lead sits within the IE Technology – Service Management team and is accountable for the resilience and reliability of Integrated Energy Technology applications, systems, and Operational Technology (OT) services.
The role ensures effective disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BCP), and service continuity practices are embedded across the lifecycle of OT services, enabling AGL to safely, securely, and sustainably operate its generation assets and commercial services. Reporting to the Head of Service Management – IE Technology, this role drives outcomes through strong governance, operational discipline, and partnership with managed service providers and Technology stakeholders.
Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave.
What you’ll be doing
Lead service continuity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning, testing, governance, and scheduling across IE Technology and drive remediation activity
Own OTSM processes that support Technology resilience, preparedness, and recovery
Oversee OT asset and configuration management, ensuring accuracy and effective service tiering
Apply project management discipline to manage actions arising from audits, risk assessments, DR testing, and major incidents
Partner with managed service providers and Technology teams to deliver resilience uplift initiatives to agreed scope, cost, and timelines
Provide governance oversight, audit coordination, reporting, and insights across service continuity, risk, and operational stability
Visit operational sites up to four times per year, as required.
What you’ll bring
Demonstrated experience in service continuity, disaster recovery, and business resiliency
Project management experience delivering remediation, audit actions, and uplift initiatives in complex environments
Proven stakeholder, vendor, negotiation, and influencing skills
Broad understanding of IT, OT, and Energy industry trends, risks, and regulatory expectations
Experience supporting large application and asset environments, with cyber security foundations
