DescriptionPosition Summary
Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for meeting with homeowners, presenting solar solutions, and closing residential solar contracts while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. This is a performance-driven role with significant earning potential for individuals who are motivated, disciplined, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience
Key Functions and Core Responsibilities:

Conduct roof inspections and assess repair or replacement needs

Present roofing options and solutions to homeowners

Follow up quickly with company-provided leads, referrals, and inbound opportunities

Present financing and warranty options

Manage pipeline, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM

Perform site surveys to verify the scope of work, materials, and warranties against the signed contract; identify any discrepancies or omissions

Coordinate with production and permitting teams after sales

Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

Generate additional leads through referrals and self-sourced opportunities.

Deliver dynamic, company-approved presentations to educate and inform homeowners.

Maintain a professional and organized appearance, including vehicle and sales materials.

Maintain and keep in effect vehicle insurance and a proper, clean driving license record.

Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and trade shows.

Ensure all necessary paperwork (contracts, financing, etc.) is properly completed.

Comfortable meeting with customers in their homes
Ability to manage a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Ability to generate leads through networking and referrals
Organized and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Smartphone required for business communication
Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to drive throughout the defined solar sales territory
A flexible schedule that allows for some evening & weekend appointments
A highly persuasive, self-disciplined & honest work ethic

Performance Expectations
Roofing Sales Representatives are expected to maintain consistent sales performance and contribute to the company's growth. Minimum monthly expectations include:
Maintain a robust sales pipeline with a minimum
- $100,000 target first month.
- $150,000 target in the following two months
- Future targets will be identified and agreed upon before each quarter, starting August 2026.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue quotas and contribute to annual forecast accuracy within ±20%.
- Sell within defined gross margin targets (e.g., 32–35% gross margin on roofing projects) and avoid discounting beyond approved authority. Proactively coordinate with production, project management, and permit teams to minimize delays and ensure timely installs.
