CFC Recycling Inc has a position opening soon in Gallatin,Tn that will require someone that is a quick thinker and very good at multitasking.This position will work very closely with the GM and other leaders of the company. This position will require the following job functions
Scale Operations and Data Entry:
Operate weighing scales for inbound/outbound vehicles and accurately log material grades and weights into the computer system to process payment.
Previous experience in metal recycling will be a plus for this position.
Vast Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous material is key to this role. You will need to be able to determine the metals being brought from customers in order to buy material correctly and adequately as they come across the scale.
Auditing and Invoicing:
Audit payable tickets for accuracy, ensuring appropriate weights and pricing.
You will audit daily cash register at opening and closing and report any discrepancies to Gm.
Records Management and Reporting:
Maintain organized daily records of invoices, shipping tickets and purchasing paperwork. Many of these items will be submitted daily and on a timely basis to the home office via our computer program designed especially for our business.
Prepare daily ,weekly or monthly reporting as needed
Customer Service and Support :
You will be assisting customers coming into our location bringing material to our location.
You will answer phone calls, answer questions and route those calls to the appropriate people when needed.
Office Management and Support:
You will work directly with the Gm and company Executives closely to ensure that any employee concerns or questions are being handled and routed to the appropriate person.
You will work directly with Human Resource to track all employee absences, tardies or other issues. You will also assist HUMAN RESOURCES with any employee related paperwork that maybe needed. You will work closely with Human Resources to drive company culture and values.
You will need to maintain an organized and orderly office setting.
You will work with the Safety Manager as needed to help with any related safety concerns that need to be addressed or delivered to the team.
Requires standing for long periods of time
Must adhere to all company safety policies, protocols and procedures
Must be able to work Monday-Friday with adequate and reliable transportation to and from work.
Skills Required
Math Skills- Strong ability to calculate ,add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately
Software Proficiency- Experience with computer systems and data entry
Organization and Accuracy- Will need to be able to have a strong attention detail and good office organizational skills especially with money and paperwork.
Fast -Paced Capability- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and work
Screenings and Workplace compliance:
