Role Overview:
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for on-site inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lithium-ion batteries used in E-rickshaws and home inverter systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Tasks
Checks and diagnostics of lithium-ion batteries in E-rickshaws and home inverters at customer site
Perform capacity testing, voltage/current measurement, and thermal monitoring.
Identify faults, degradation, or safety risks in battery packs.
Carry out preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
Replace defective cells/modules and ensure proper disposal as per safety standards.
Maintain accurate service records, test reports, and customer logs.
Customer Interaction
Visit customer sites to provide technical support and resolve battery-related issues.
Educate customers on battery usage, charging practices, and safety precautions.
Provide feedback to the company on recurring issues and customer concerns.
Compliance & Reporting
Follow all safety guidelines for handling lithium-ion batteries.
Ensure compliance with environmental and recycling regulations.
Report field findings to the technical team for product improvement.
