About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and passionate NPD Technologist to join a fast-paced and innovative food manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in developing new products from concept through to launch, working with major customers in a highly dynamic environment.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Production, Procurement, and Sales teams to deliver high-quality, commercially viable products aligned with market trends and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver NPD projects from concept through to launch
Develop and refine recipes, flavour profiles, and product concepts
Research food trends, ingredients, and packaging innovations
Prepare and present products for internal and customer approval
Source and approve raw materials in collaboration with suppliers
Coordinate factory trials and support product launches
Ensure compliance with labelling, nutritional, and customer specifications
Conduct benchmarking, sensory evaluation, and product optimisation
Maintain accurate documentation throughout the NPD process

About You

2–3 years’ experience in food product development (ideally chilled)
Strong passion for food, innovation, and consumer trends
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Confident communicator across teams, suppliers, and customers
Able to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related discipline
Culinary background or hands-on food experience
