Position Summary
The Director position leads the oversight and optimization of cost management, contract administration, and operational performance reporting to support the SJI Renewable Energy Ventures, LLC (“SJI REV”) financial and strategic objectives. This role is responsible for driving cost discipline, ensuring effective contract governance, and providing accurate and timely reporting of key performance metrics. The Director partners with finance, procurement, and operational leaders to monitor expenditures, manage contractual obligations, evaluate financial performance, and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability across the business.
Essential Functions:
Oversee contract management processes, including review, negation support, compliance monitoring, and administration of commercial agreements to mitigatefinancial and contractual risk
Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and SJI REV operational leadership to ensure consistent contract governance, cost control practices, and adherence to company policies and regulatoryrequirements
Monitor contract performance, including deliverables, milestones, pricing structures, and change orders, ensuring contractual obligations are met by internal teamsand external partners
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of contract management practices, including contract review, compliance monitoring, change management, and vendor performance oversight
Qualifications
Required Background:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience, or;
- Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
- In addition, a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience is required.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
