Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience in battery compliance, materials compliance, or product certification engineering
Hands-on experience with UL certification processes and related battery safety standards
Direct experience with standards including UN 38.3, UL 1642, UL 2054, IEC 62133-2:2017, and ANSI/NEMA C18
Strong working knowledge of global materials regulations including RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Conflict Minerals, and California Prop 65
Experience managing certification testing programs, compliance documentation, and external certification partners
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with materials characterization and analytical test equipment including SEM-EDX, FTIR, XRF, ICP-MS / ICP-AES, GC/MS, and Ion Chromatography
Experience supporting battery certification programs across multiple global markets

Compensation Range:
$171,000 – $200,000 + Equity
