Job Title: Senior Investment Analyst / Associate (Renewable Energy M&A)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient professional to join our M&A team in Asia based in Bangkok. This is an execution-heavy role that requires a unique blend of financial modeling excellence and a solid understanding of the technical lifecycle of renewable energy projects. You will be the bridge between our investment strategy and the technical delivery teams, ensuring seamless coordination across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Execution: Build and maintain complex, project-level financial models for renewable energy assets (Solar, Wind, BESS).
• Technical Interface: Work closely with internal and external engineering teams to translate technical due diligence (yields, EPC costs, O&M) into investment assumptions—experience with technical advisory or engineering consultancies is a significant advantage.
• Project Management: Act as the "engine room" for transactions, coordinating information flow between accounting, legal, and regional departments.
• Market Drive: Maintain a high-performance pace, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are aligned through proactive follow-ups.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: 3–6 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Development, or Project Finance, specifically within the renewable energy sector.
• Technical Background: A background in technical advisory, engineering consultancy, or "Owner’s Engineer" roles is a plus, provided it is coupled with strong financial literacy.
• Education: Degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field; CFA or similar professional designation is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Resilient, assertive, and capable of managing cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment; a "can-do" attitude toward both high-level strategy and ground-level execution.
