Specific to the PositionPeriodic manual inspection of Floodgate tide boards, recording, and comparison to digital readouts. Alerting full-time Floodgate staff of impending/needed closings of the gate and potential operations of the interior drainage pumps. When closed, periodic inspections of inland and bayside tide boards to track subsidence of flooding event and ability to reopen.Preferred Skill SetAbility to work alternating hours and shifts, effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to anticipate changes to the water bodies necessitating Floodgate closure.Employee Benefits
