Our client, a well-established and highly regarded consulting engineering firm specialising in renewable energy solutions, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company delivering innovative projects across the solar, wind, and energy storage sectors.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and execution of renewable energy projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients, contributing technical expertise across all project phases.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design and engineer electrical systems for renewable energy projects (including solar PV, wind, and BESS)
Perform system studies, simulations, and feasibility assessments
Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and specifications
Support project delivery, including site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
2-5 years’ experience within consulting engineering or renewable energy projects
Solid understanding of power systems, grid integration, and MV/LV design
Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT, AutoCAD, PVsyst)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Professional registration (ECSA or working towards) is preferred
