Civil Works & HSE Maintenance Officer
- Assist inBOQ preparation, designing, and developmentof civil and renovation projects.
- Support inhiring, coordination, and supervisionof civil and finishing contractors.
- Monitor and manage on-site execution, ensuring quality, quantity, and timely completion of works.
- Conductdaily site inspections, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Handleprocurement of materials, conduct market surveys, and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions.
- Verifycontractor billswith proper documentation and work verification.
- Maintain proper records for allrepair and maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and material usage logs.
B. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Responsibilities
- Ensurestrict compliance with HSE standardsduring all civil and maintenance activities.
- Implement and monitorsite safety procedures, including risk assessments and safe work practices.
- Coordinate with theHSE departmentfor training and awareness sessions for contractors and staff.
- Ensurepersonal protective equipment (PPE)usage and monitor adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist inemergency preparednessand site evacuation planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degreein Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experiencein civil maintenance, construction supervision, or facility management.
- Certification in IOSH or NEBOSHwill be considered a strong plus.
- Proven knowledge ofHSE standards, risk assessment, and site safety protocols.
- Proficiency inMS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge ofAutoCAD (2D/3D)for layout reading and minor design modifications is plus.
- Basic understanding ofMEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)systems.
- Strongcommunication, negotiation, and leadershipskills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth coordination between contractors and management.
