Purpose
Primarily responsible for housekeeping, cleaning, and various manual labor duties.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect an appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
Communal areas (excluding offices) like: Warehouse, Blending, Maintenance Shop, Concrete Truck Court, Rail-Road Tracks, Parking Lots, Retention Pond (as required), and any other area indicated by Maintenance Manager. Ensure areas mentioned before are clean and free of “fugitive” pellets (“Floor Sweep” - spill control).
Ensure all drain baskets (30x30” and round drains) from truck court and blending operation areas are clean and free of pellets.
Pick up litter and trash from ground and landscaping areas.
Pick up trash and recycle items from designated cleaning stations and dumpsters.
Perform cleaning tasks as indicated by direct supervisor.
Work following safety practices and company rules and policies.
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
Identify potential hazards and report to immediate supervisor.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety facility standard.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
Licenses / Certifications:
Forklift certification
Work Environment / Conditions
The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience.
This role works primarily in an outdoor environment (approximately 85%) with additional time spent in a warehouse setting (15%). Must be able to work in varying temperatures, safely and effectively throughout all seasons.
Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
