Job Requirements

We are looking for a Washington-DC based experienced environmental litigation and regulatory associate, knowledgeable about administrative law and environmental statutes, with 2-5 years of experience. The candidate should have substantial experience in infrastructure and permitting matters under major federal regulatory programs (NEPA, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, etc.). Experience with complex environmental and regulatory issues concerning chemicals, pesticides, consumer products, and/or emerging contaminants is a plus, as is administrative law-related litigation experience. The ideal candidate should be committed to providing only the highest-quality work product and advice to the firm’s clients and incorporating feedback from supervising attorneys.

This position requires someone who will take significant responsibility for his or her cases or matters. Candidates should be diligent, proactive, supportive and team-oriented. Only candidates with a strong academic background, superior drafting skills, and strong references will be considered.

The expected pay range for this position is:

$235 000 to $365 000 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
